The Bellmans Dog Show
Starting at 12 noon in the Bellmans dog show arena there are six classes which culminate in the best in show class which will be held in the countryside arena at 4.25 pm. Entry for each class is £3.00.

Horse Racing
At the heart of the countryside is the horse; watch them race today! Pick your favourites from the Race Card, place your bets and cheer them over the winning line. Visit the bookies to place your bet and get some friendly advice for who to back. Keep your eye on the updated runners and riders for last minute changes. If you’re lucky you’ll be able to collect your winnings!

What to wear
This is an outdoor event in a large field. Wear your finest racing outfits if you wish to but a warm coat with wellies if the weather is inclement or sun cream if the weather is more obliging however there are no hard and fast rules. The most important thing is that you are comfortable for whatever the weather.

You may want to view the horses parading in the parade ring before they join the course. There is plenty of time to have a flutter at the bookies stands next to the parade ring then it’s time to make your way to the trackside to watch the gleaming coats and thundering hooves come racing past you.
Race Cards
Purchased for £3 from designated race card sellers on the ground. Your race card will explain the different races, the riders and horses entered as well as a form guide and a map of the course. A map of the site can be found near the front so you don’t miss out on any of the attractions.Please remember those listed in the race card may not declare on the day so keep an eye on the number board for declared horses.
Dogs
Responsible dog owners and their dogs are very welcome. Dogs must be kept on a short, non-extendable lead. Please bring water with you and do not leave dogs in hot cars. Finally, we are sharing the site with many other people and would ask that you clear up after your dog.
